Privacy policy

Slide & Slay is a free browser game published by Superagents Labs. This policy explains what we collect when you play, why, and the choices you have. Last updated 2026-10-31.

The short version

• You can play without giving us your name or email.
• We collect what the game needs to save your progress, run leaderboards and process purchases, plus basic usage data to improve the game.
• We do not show ads and we do not sell your data.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the game.

What we collect

A guest account

When you open the game online, it creates an anonymous account with a random ID, so your progress is saved without you signing up.

Your game data

Progress and settings, gold earned and spent, unlocks and purchases, daily dungeon runs (including the moves, so the server can verify scores), scores, the display name you choose for leaderboards, and the friends you add.

Your email, if you add one

If you save your progress with an email, we use it to send you sign-in codes and to identify your account. If you make a purchase, it is also used for the receipt.

Usage data

The game records gameplay events, such as a run ending, the depth reached or a shop being opened, with a session ID and your account ID. We use them only in aggregate to understand how the game is played and to fix problems, and we delete them after 90 days.

Streak reminders, if you turn them on

We store your browser's push address and your time zone offset, only to send one reminder on evenings when your streak is about to end. The notification carries no personal data. Turn reminders off in the game (Armory, account box) or in your browser settings, and we delete the address.

Data on your device

The game keeps your progress and settings in your browser's local storage, so it works offline. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

What other players can see

On leaderboards and friend lists: your display name (or "Adventurer" and a short code), your scores, your title and your chosen look. Your email is never shown to other players.

Purchases

Purchases are optional and paid through Stripe, our payment processor. We receive the product, price, currency and status of each purchase, never your card details. Stripe keeps transaction records as the law requires, even after you delete your account.

Who processes your data

We use these service providers to run the game. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

• Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from abuse. It processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages.
• Supabase runs our database and sign-in. It stores your account, progress and the other game data listed above.
• Resend delivers the sign-in code emails.
• Stripe processes payments. It receives your email address, your account ID, what you bought and the payment details you enter at checkout; we never see your card number.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve the game's fonts and code libraries, so they see your IP address when the page loads.
• PostHog receives product analytics: which screens you use and how you play, tied to your account ID. Not your email.

Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Why we use your data

To provide the game and your account (our contract with you), to keep it secure and stop cheating, and to improve it (our legitimate interest in running a good game). For purchases, also to meet legal obligations such as keeping tax records.

How long we keep it

Your account and game data are kept until you delete your account. Usage events are deleted after 90 days. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: in the game, open the Armory and choose Delete my account in the account box. This permanently erases your account, progress, gold, purchase records with us, scores and friends.
• Access, correct or export your data, or ask a question: email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Slide & Slay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the game if the change is significant.
